WHMIS - Workplace Hazard Materials Information System. WHMIS Is Canada's national hazard communication standard. When working in construction different products and chemicals are used, being able to understand what the hazardous symbols mean can prevent injury, sickness, and even death. Snyder construction regularily reviews over WHMIS symbols to remind employees of the hazards they encounter and how to safely use them.
